DuraStone Flake®1.0 flake will make resinous flooring as beautiful as it is practical and cost-effective. DuraStone Flake®1.0 has been developed to imitate the stone bench top looks and is specially formulated to enhance the aesthetic qualities of seamless, resin-based designer-look flooring systems. This product is integrally pigmented, brilliantly coloured, arbitrary in shape and uniquely blended. The possibilities are infinite when it comes to achieving optimal appearance and texture qualities, with a resinous flooring or wall coating system to match any décor. DuraStone Flake® is also known as HyperFlake, Ultra Flake, Natural Stone Flake and Vinyl Flake.
Directions For Use: Wearing spike shoes for this application type is strongly recommended. Apply the base coat and work from the end of the room backwards to the exit. Note, the colour flakes must be applied during the process of the basecoat application and while the basecoat is still wet to ensure the colour flakes will stick properly to the basecoat. After 24 hours when the basecoat has been cured, sweep the floor, and keep leftover material beside. You can use a stand-up scraper at a very shallow angle to smooth out the surface for any chips that stick up in the air. Use then a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly remove any remaining loose colour flakes.
