Colour Quartz® is UV stable and a notoriously hard mineral which makes it ideal for use on floors in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. It has many great qualities such as anti-slip properties and its vibrancy makes it perfect for use as a coloured decorative component. Colour Quartz® is the most versatile used mineral in the epoxy flooring industry that is generally combined with epoxy, polyaspartic or polyurea coatings.
Direction For Use: Wearing spike shoes for this application type is strongly recommended. Apply basecoat and work from the end of the room backwards to the exit. Note the colour quartz must be applied during the process of the basecoat application while the basecoat is still wet to ensure the Colour Quartz® will stick properly to the basecoat. While the base coat is still wet, start throwing or scattering the Colour Quartz® over the wet epoxy base coat to the amount and coverage desired.
Coverage: 1.0 – 1.5kg per m²
Clean Up: Broom, dustpan, or vacuum. Refer to the safety data sheet for more information.
