Description
CAMPER GUARD PRIMER COAT PC70™ is an aqueous 2-pack epoxy primer system that provides extra adhesion. It has been formulated to inhibit rust and corrosion for the protection of metal surfaces and is specifically designed for use as primer under Durable Surface Coatings Camper Guard over coat systems. CAMPER GUARD PRIMER COAT PC70™ contains maximum anti-corrosive properties for ferrous substrates such as steel and galvanised steel.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Must refer to product data sheet. In general, surface to be treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of dirt, oil, grease, old coatings, and any other contaminants. Rust and flaking paint must be completely removed with a wire brush or mechanical sander prior to primer application. First thoroughly stir the Camper Guard Prime Coat PC70™ Part A and Part B separately ONLY to properly disperse all components. Add Part B into Part A and thoroughly mix with a mechanical mixer. Always mix full pack kit sizes to avoid incorrect measure of ratio. Mix ratio 10 Parts A to 6 Parts B by weight.
APPLICATION: Brush, Roller or Spray. Pot Life: 1-2 hours. Dry Times: 2-4 hours, Recoat window: 2-48 hours, Full cure: 5 days. All drying times depend on climatic conditions, temperatures, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, and application methods.
COVERAGE: 8-10m2/L depending on porosity of substrate and application methods.
CLEAN UP: Water. Refer to product data sheet for detailed information.
Special features & benefits section: Excellent adhesion to metals, Water based two-pack system, Excellent corrosion resistance, Overcoat with water based and solvent based top coats, Weather resilience, Quick drying, Low odour, Easy to apply, Long pot life.
CAMPER GUARD BASE COAT BC100™ is the latest technology of a highly flexible UV stable coating, providing superior weatherproofing protection. The system will outlast any other acrylic coating or waterproofing membrane due to its unique and high-quality feature of the 3D cross-linking properties. Camper Guard Base Coat BC100™ has been developed for applications on rooftops such as caravans, RVs, motorhomes, campers, trucks, buses, trailers as well as composite materials providing the substrate with a seamless and impermeable barrier, whilst also providing corrosion protection.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Must refer to product data sheet. In general, surface to be treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of dirt, oil, grease, old coatings, and any other contaminants. Use Camper Guard Primer Coat PC70™ prior applying the base coat. First thoroughly stir the Camper Guard Base Coat BC100™ Part A ONLY to properly disperse all components. Add Part B into Part A and thoroughly mix with a mechanical mixer. Always mix full pack kit sizes to avoid incorrect measure of ratio. Mix ratio is 1:1 by volume.
APPLICATION: Brush, Roller or Spray. Pot Life: 20-45 minutes, Touch Dry: 2-6 hours, Recoat window: 4-16 hours, Full cure: 5 days. All drying times depend on climatic conditions, temperatures, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, and application methods. Apply 1 liberal coat at 4m²/L.
COVERAGE: 4m2/L depending on porosity of substrate and application methods.
CLEAN UP: Thinners, Methylated spirits. Refer to product data sheet for detailed information.
Special features & benefits section: UV stable, Non-yellowing, Highly Flexible, Superior Weatherproofing, High durability, Impermeable barrier, High corrosion protectant, Excellent water & chemical resistance.
CAMPER GUARD TOP COAT TC50™ is an extremely tough but flexible, UV stable and non-yellowing, hard wearing film and is used as a durable protective coating over Camper Guard Base Coat BC100™ system. It provides extra protection against dirt, road grime, traffic fumes and other environmental contaminants which usually get embedded in flexible coatings.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Must refer to product data sheet. In general, surface to be treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of dirt, oil, grease, old coatings, and any other contaminants. Apply Camper Guard Top Coat TC50™ within 12-24 hours of the application of Camper Guard Base Coat BC100™. After 24 hours, Camper Guard Base Coat BC100™ needs to be sanded for inter-coat adhesion prior to applying the Camper Guard Top Coat TC50™.
APPLICATION: Brush, Roller or Spray. Touch Dry: 2-8 hours, Recoat window: 4-24 hours, Full cure: 7 days. All drying times depend on climatic conditions, temperatures, film thickness, ventilation, humidity, and application methods. Apply 1 liberal coat at 8-10m²/L.
COVERAGE: 8-10m2/L depending on porosity of substrate and application methods.
CLEAN UP: Thinners, Methylated spirits. Refer to product data sheet for detailed information.
