Description

Decorative Colour Flake® makes epoxy flooring as beautiful as it is practical and cost-effective. Colour Flake®, also commonly referred to as decorative vinyl chips or polymer flakes, are specially formulated to enhance the aesthetic qualities of seamless, epoxy resin-based chip/flake flooring systems. This unique product is integrally pigmented, brilliantly coloured, random in shape, and custom blended with infinite possibilities to achieve optimal appearance and texture qualities with an epoxy resinous flooring or epoxy wall coating system to match any décor.

Directions For Use: Wearing spike shoes for this application type is strongly recommended. Apply the base coat and work from the end of the room backwards to the exit. Note, the colour flakes must be applied during the process of the basecoat application and while the basecoat is still wet to ensure the colour flakes will stick properly to the basecoat. After 24 hours, when the basecoat has been cured, sweep the floor, and keep leftover material aside. You can use a stand-up scraper at a very shallow angle to smooth out the surface for any chips that stick up in the air. Use a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly remove any remaining loose colour flakes.
