Durathane SP40® 4L Gloss is an aliphatic, (non-yellowing) single moisture cure polyurethane, which has UV absorbers and scavengers incorporated to protect substrates from the effects of sunlight. Durathane SP40® coating provides an extremely tough but flexible, hard-wearing film, and is used as a durable protective coating system for high-traffic areas with a gloss or satin finish. Ideal for seamless top coating flake flooring, polished concrete, and epoxy coating systems. Designed for use in a wide range of environments where a lasting solution to floor maintenance problems is required. The exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical spillage and fumes this product is ideal for use in commercial environments. The product’s unique features and benefits are water & chemical resistant, excellent adhesion, high corrosion resistance, high durability, joint less, easy, and fast to apply, and easy to clean and maintain. Please note, any chemical spills should be cleaned up immediately.
Direction For Use: Refer to the technical data sheet. In general, the surface being treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of loose material, dirt, debris, mildew, oil, grease, old coatings, curing compounds, release agents, laitance and other contaminants, and any moisture.
Application: Lint-free Epoxy Roller or Brush.
Coverage: 6 –12m2/L depending on the porosity of the substrate and application methods.
Dry Times: Touch Dry: 2 – 3 hours, Re-Coat Time: 4 – 24 hours, Hard Dry/Light Foot Traffic: 24 hours, Full Cure: 7 days. All drying times depend on film thickness, ventilation, temperature, humidity, and application methods. Two coats minimum are recommended.
Clean Up: Clean all equipment with Solvent SLP100™. Refer to the technical data sheet for detailed information.
