Aqua Dura-Seal 4500™ is a new generation, single component, water-based, high strength penetrating sealer specifically formulated to intensely improve the water and stain resistance of all concrete and natural stone surfaces for many years with an invisible natural look and breathable barrier. Aqua Dura-Seal 4500™ provides maximum protection for the surface from water and oil borne contaminants, and is also an ideal barrier around saltwater pools or marinas. This product is used on natural stone including concrete surfaces, exposed aggregate, masonry, slate, sandstone, pavers, bricks, grout, granite, limestone, travertine and terracotta. Aqua Dura-Seal 4500™ has no unpleasant odour or flammability problems and is therefore excellent to use for public areas. It also reduces growth of mould, fungus, mildew and bacteria. Can be used interior and exterior.
Direction For Use: In general, the surface to be treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of loose material, dirt, debris, mildew, oil, grease, old coatings, curing compounds, release agents, laitance, dust, and other contaminants. Protect any adjacent areas by masking to avoid splashes or overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated. Aqua Dura-Seal 4500™ is ready to use and should be applied when the surface is completely dry. Shake well to ensure thorough mixing.
Application: Low-Pressure Spray, Lint free Epoxy Roller or Brush.
Coverage: 4 – 10m2/L depending on porosity of substrate and application methods.
Dry Times: 2 – 8 hours, Full cure: 24 hours. All drying times depend on temperatures, humidity and application methods. One coat only recommended, unless substrate is extremely porous.
Clean Up: Clean all equipment with water. Refer to the technical data sheet for detail information.
