Water-Based Epoxy Primer WEP32™ 12L – Clear is a modern generation, two-pack epoxy resin matrix that is designed to prime a vast range of mineral surfaces. Water-Based Epoxy Primer WEP32™ has a fast-curing time of 20 – 120 minutes, which is excellent for same-day basecoat application. When applying your base coat, this product will provide superior adhesion, and eliminate sink back and dry patches.
Directions For Use: Refer to the technical data sheet. In general, the surface being treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of loose material, dirt, debris, mildew, oil, grease, old coatings, curing compounds, release agents, laitance and other contaminants, and any moisture. Mix Water-Based Epoxy Primer WEP32™ (2 Parts A) with Water-Based Epoxy Primer WEP32™ Hardener (1 Part B). Use a mechanical mixer to ensure thorough mixing. The mix ratio is 2:1 by volume.
Application: Lint-free Epoxy Roller or Brush.
Coverage: 10 – 15m2/L depending on the application methods and the porosity of the substrate.
Dry Times: Touch Dry: 25 – 40 minutes, Re-Coat Time: 40 – 120 minutes, Hard Dry/Light Foot Traffic: 12 – 24 hours, Full Cure: 7 days. All drying times depend on the film thickness, ventilation, temperature, humidity, and application methods.
Clean Up: Clean all equipment with Water. Refer to the technical data sheet for detailed information.
